Hinterschwepfinger
DETAILS
At the location of Hinterschwepfinger in Burghausen, a distinctive facade architecture was created that confidently showcases materiality and scale. The clear building structure is defined by a continuous metal shell that gives the building body depth and identity.
ZinCuTec realized the entire exterior facade in brass. Parts of the elements were fabricated and processed in special formats of up to 4000 to 5000 millimeters. The large-format panels create a calm, flat effect and emphasize the architectural clarity of the building. Through a precisely tuned bronzing process, the brass achieved a warm, differentiated tonal quality that was deliberately matched to the adjacent stone.
Inside, the facade language continued in the same color tone. The repetition of the brass surfaces creates a visual continuity between the outside and inside, strengthening the holistic material effect.
ZinCuTec's surface treatment here combines technical precision with architectural sensitivity and shows how large-format brass can shape a powerful yet balanced building identity in dialogue with stone.
